Del Cerro San Diego, CA
Del Cerro is located in central San Diego and borders the communities of San Carlos, Allied Gardens, College Area, Grantville and the city of La Mesa.
The homes are centered in the hills above Mission Trails Regional Park (where the ever-populated hiking trails of Cowles Mountain is located) and is considered an upscale community. It’s also the perfect spot for bike riding, running, walking or rollerblading because the lake has 3.2 miles of paved paths along the shoreline.
Another attraction is Cowles Mountain. This very popular hiking mountain is the most popular in all of San Diego County. With its spectacular views of Lake Murray and the surrounding communities, hikers enjoy this trail up to the top. Round trip is only three miles and day or night, you’ll find the die-hard hikers getting their exercise.
For your shopping pleasure, Mission Valley Mall and Fashion Valley Mall are directly west, approximately 10 minutes down the Interstate 8 Freeway.
